    Glen Cove

Was doing some work in Churchville today and decided to run up and check out the ramp at Glen Cove. Looks a little tight to swing around like suggested for the ramp but I guess doable. It was mentioned last year that the Broad Creek ramp was all silted in and not suggested to launch from. Is Glen Cove where you guys recommend putting in at for fishing above the damn or are there better suggestions?

I use it often and its pretty convenient. I have no issues making the U turn at the ramp. You can also launch directly across from glen cove in 5 hole. But that can be jammed full of wood and debri. You can also launch up by the power plant.

I was told that the game commission left part of the docks in at Dorsey park (Power plant) all winter.

Dorcey park at the power plant is your only other choice and the nicest one of them all.

Last I heard, there was not enough water at 5 hole to launch a boat and get out to the river

I would not doubt it. Last year was sketchy at times at 5 hole.

Did this video for a friend of mine in PA to give him a look at launching at Glen Cove.

Nice work, that did a great job of explaining it all.
