Update: Back together and in the water ....runs great no more surge....no more lean sneeze

My motor has been doing the same thing I hit a log two weeks ago and since then it will idle fine but once you start going at slower speeds it will jerk will quick and then you have to trim it down and then you get back on it and it will run down the lake like normal with no problems until you go to slow down agin mine is the same motor 1999 3.0 liter efi 225 any info would be greatly appreciated
