    NMEA 2000

Any of you guys running a NMEA 2000 hook up from a BF 250 to your sonar?? If you are my question is does the signal supply cable 06653-ZZ3-730HE provide the engine information and fuel consumption or just engine information??

My Honda and Raymarine would just show fuel used and rate I believe.
You had to have a fluid level to measure the fuel tank, Or put it in manually enter the amount of fuel, when you filled up.

The engine interface cable connects the engine to a NMEA 2000 network. The cable transfers all the data an engine is programmed to do. The cable can not separate data.
On Hondas (and any other modern engine) when connected to NMEA 2000 the engine puts out everything it was programmed to do on the network (every engine manufacturer has proprietary data that will not be visible on public NMEA 2000 networks). So you will have fuel usage on the network etc, if a NMEA 2000 fuel level sender is connected to network fuel level will be available on the network. Then depending on the MFD display and its capabilities to show this data is dependent on manuf and unit. All modern units usually show all that is available on NMEA 2000 network.
