I think you should try 22p or 23p on that boat. You will sacrifice 2.5mph at 400rpm at worst, but should gain hole shot and better rpm with the 23p. Should be able to get a easy 53-56 with a 23p at 5400-5600? There have been several dealer wrong prop issues as of late here where I'm at. I had buddy buy 2017 Ranger 198 with 115 pro xs . He said he could get 4200 at best out of the boat, I looked at prop and dealer had installed 24p tempest on his 115? They swapped him for 22" and boat was at 5000 and low 50's after. Every boat and motor set up is different of course but its all physics in the end? My other friend just got the new TRX195 Tracker 150 3.0 Four stroke. It runs a 24P tempest and can get 58-61.2 on gps lightly loaded and around 5500-5600.

Finally got the 22P Tempest from the dealer that I've been waiting for. Of course the tournament I'm fishing this Saturday is on a no wake lake. I'm gonna try to take it out Sunday but we've got projected 30+ mph winds here for the next 4 days.

The z18 with 150-4stroke has a service bulletin out From Nitro to warranty exchange a fury prop for a tempest. It actually just came out the other day. contact your dealer with your hull number and ask about the service bulletin from Nitro for the tempest 22p.

How great would it be if I single handedly uncovered this issue? Not trying to sound like an ass, I'm saying that call to Nitro I made just over a month ago, where Sandy uncovered that I had the wrong prop, could be the start to this whole thing.

Ok i found the answer for you guys. My sergeant just got a z18 with the 150 fourstroke and dual power poles. The boat came with a 24 fury and no matter what pvs configuration it was a dog getting on plane. His best speed was 56 ish at 5200 ish. I gave him an original 24p bravo 1 to try and he LOVES it. He said it is a rocket out of the hole and he can feel the prop lift the entire boat on a mid range punch. He is now running 62 mph at 5800 rpm.

2018 Z18 with Merc 150 4S. Two 12' Talons on the back with no jack plate. Fury 24 gave me a 9 second hole shot with about 55 mph @ 5350 RPM. Dealer traded me a Tempest Plus 22. Great hole shot but I lost 3 MPH midrange. Top end was 56 MPH on GPS turning 5700 - 5800 RPM. I really wanted the Tempest 23.
