Save your money and go thermal.

Thermal seems to be the way to go. Lots of Texas hunters use them for hogs and exotics (legal to night hunt them here). You can read for days here:

I'm thinking nv scope for target ID and having a thermal scanner. Problem is I'm thinking, with most of our hunting seasons out and still a little early for fishing my mind gets to wondering, if its raining then I'm on the internet instead of outside working and that is where the trouble begins. Good thing about this time of year, different guns get accessorized, brass gets converted to live rounds, and my bank account gets lowered.

Get the thermal. I have a Gen 3 ATN night vision which is a killer scope. The gun is limited to just night time with it. I need a good thermal scanner to pair with it.
