    Out of stater question

I'm hoping to come to Champlain to fish the Costa series. My question is, do I just need a N.Y. non resident license? Thanks!

I would get a ny and vermont .
Lots of water in vermont side.

I second having a vermont as well but you truly only need it to fish mallets bay or the gulch which is north of it, the rest of the lake can be fished with only a ny pretty much unless you're going into creek systems.

Get the vt license, you can fish all on ny waters with it, except creeks or rivers in ny. I stay up there from May-oct. Look me up at marine village cottages in beekmantown ny. I'll give you some info that may help you out.

    Thanks, will do.
So you're saying just get a VT non resident license and that will be good for just about anywhere on the lake?
