I was thinking about buying a New trailer for my 1998 Triton TR20

Any suggestions?, should I but a Triton trailer? or some other brand?

Anybody else have good luck w/ other brand trailers?

    thanks

I had a single axle for my tr20 and hated it. It was hard for me to find a new trailer since i wanted tandem axles. You pretty much have to find a totalled boat or go the expensive route and get a new one.

Being from Connecticut, I would imagine there is a custom aluminum trailer maker near you.

Brought it home Sat. The shop is an hour away so I did not tow super far. I drove mostly highway about 70 mph and the boat towed great.

SWEET!!!! The only thing I would be apprehensive of is those aluminum fenders, most of the ones I've seen are kind of lightweight and wouldn't support my fat 275 pound ass.
Put a lock on that spare and put a really really good lock on the tongue and your hitch tongue in your truck. That's three locks, maybe weld the nut on your hitch too.

I have considered an alum for my replacement as well. But those things are 2-3' longer than a standard trailer. Even with the swing tongue it wouldn't fit in my garage....

Yes sir they are longer. Mine sits outside in a parking lot but barely fits now. If I had larger boat I would have had some problems with parking.
