Crazy not too, I would do a decarb to clean out all the carbon built up in the cylinders & rings, change the plugs and switch to XD-50. Your motor will thank you with many smooth years of operation.

Do I need to drain the oil container or just start adding xd50?
I would go to XD-100, full synthetic. If you buy it smart, it is not much more expensive than the XD-50 and no more carbon buildup. Runs very clean.

Ok so sounds like I need to do a brp engine tuner for a decarb. Change plugs and then I'll just run xd100.
You should be set if you follow that protocol.
