    try the Dobyns 704CB rod. Its a crankbait rod but is hands down my new favorite buddy rod. It also is a great jerkbait and pop-r rod.

    I might try the Dobyns 705CB because I use bigger blade baits.

    Bill, just pretend it's a jig your fishing on the bottom. You don't have to feel it vibrate to catch fish. Usually if you feel it vibrate, you're working it too fast. Especially when it's cold.
