    Alpha 211r v/s v-20 rough water ride

How do these 2 boats compare?

Both ride very good. The 211 does have a bit better ride in the slop though

I have owned both the 211R seems to have the edge in the really rough stuff, but in no means does the V20 ride bad!

If I am not mistaken or I could have misunderstood, I thought the hull bottom was the same, difference is the cap.

I appreciate the responses. I have a 2014 211r and was considering changing to a v-20. I'm on the fence on this one

You definitely wouldn't be disappointed if you decide to make the move.

Coops, the cap is entirely different but the hull of the alpha was flared out at the top to accommodate a wider deck. That is how it was described to me in the plant. I had 2 alpha 211 since 2009 and ordered a V20 for this season.

Cpt Morgan, I knew that the bottom of the hull had been flared out to accommodate the wider top cap, but the bottom hull and pad are the same as the 211R I thought were the same. Either way, they both handle well. I love mine.

Agreed! They both are amazing machines.
