    Looks like the lock workers opend the gates before it was done filling up. You can see water rushing in.

    I fished a clubbie there this weekend. The lockmaster opened the gate so slow my buddy thought we were going to be late for weigh in. Do you think it was the same one being overly cautious ???

    I was fishing a tournament at kissimee and it was the same way if not worse locking through onto the river.

    Does not help that half the folks in there were not holding onto the ropes until thing started to go south.

    I was in the lock last week and they were really slow about filling it up. It was an older lady who was very cautious.

    Even with the ropes you can still get swung around pretty good. That water really rushes fast and is unpredictable. I’ve been in there before when something like this happens. It’s kind scary because if you get thrown off your boat your in a heap of trouble.

    Agreed, but the fact they were not holding the ropes was a contributor to this being worse than it had to be. Bet most will hold the ropes from here on.
