What's the difference between a tr 196 and a tr 19x?

Is the difference mainly the push button pad? I
Or is the hulls different also. I've had a tr 196 but haven't had a 19x did have a 21x at one time

If I remember,the 196 has 1 live well with divider,19 has separate livewells. 196 only has 1 aerator,recirculator,and 1 bilge pump, the 19 has 2 of each

Depends on the boat the TR196, and 19XS were completely different boats, hull, deck, etc.

The one i looked at said tr 19x. I have owned two tr186 boats they look the same but figured it was something. The aireators maybe it

For the record the Tr-196 is a completely different boat than a 19X. Tr-196 was the older TR style hull where the 19 X was one of the newer style hulls that came out in 09 and later. Tr-196 was max 200 HP and could be had in multiple configuration depending on how ordered. You could have gotten touch pads and even separated live wells with separate pumps etc. It was a quick boat with a 200 and ran on the first generation X hull. The 19X and later models did not chine walk like the ole TR-196.

My 2008 Tr-186 is equipped with the "pro" pkg which added dual pumps for aeration (pump in), recirculation.
