Sorry but rain and cold is perfect for a full face motor cycle helmet. Did the goggles before, waste of money. Rain hurts running down the lake

If you don't want a helmet, any decent ski goggles should work as well. Just get the amber or clear lens.

Motorcycle helmet is the best in rain.

I don't do much cold running anymore but I do a lot of night running, so it is bugs or rain lol. Short runs I just hunker down behind the windshield, for my long run back to the ramp, I use a Uvex Bionic Face Shield.
Full face helmet is the best, but this is a cheap alternative.

I carry amber and clear glasses for running in warmer weather, bugs hurt at 55 MPH. In colder weather I wouldn't be without my full face shield MC helmet. If it didn't take up so much room I'd keep it in the boat all year.

But a full face helmet is best for long runs in cold weather.

Just get a save phace mask and call it good, why just goggles when they only cover half of your face?

Ebay-----I buy the cheap ones now after losing and scratching up some good sets. The cheap ones do just as well keeping wind out of your eyes. I use a helmet when its cold or raining.

I use the motorcycle helmet style with the flip down glass and no bar across the chin - much better peripheral vision and less prone to fogging, cooler in the summer and plenty warm in the winter.

Definitely motorcycle helmet. Not only a nice 'windshield' but also insulation and impact protection.

if you are set on goggles vice a motorcycle helmet... find a second hand store in a ski town... I bought two Scott’s one amber and one clear.. both slightly scratched $10.00 each.

Academy puts their cheap amber goggles on sale for 9.98 each spring. I picked up 5 pair for a ski trip with the family and they are now in the boat. I used them 2 weeks in a row and they actually helped in the fog at Keowee last weekend.

I have $50 Oakley's from a motorcycle shop. I wear them over my prescription eyeglasses.

    Scott ski goggles. You're welcome.
