    Solix at the Bow

I have two questions regarding use of a 12" Solix at the bow (Chirp GPS model vs MEGA SI GPS model):

    (1) If the desired application is only to run CHIRP 2D and MEGA Down Imaging off the new low-Q XTM 9 MDI T transducer, can I do that with the CHIRP GPS model? Or do I need MEGA SI?

    (2) If I also have the MEGA SI version at the console that runs MEGA SI off a transom transducer, can I view (assuming all are networked) the transom transducer MEGA SI images on a Solix Chirp GPS unit at the bow if desired? Or would the bow unit also need to be the MEGA SI model?

    Thanks!

    1. It works with either model. Read the blue highlighted statement from the software update on post #259 here: http://www.bbcboards.net/showthread....428742&page=13

    2. Yes, you can share SI to a Sonar model via Ethernet.

One additional question: the blue highlighted statement refers to 710272-1 XTM 14 20 MDI T rather than 710270-1 XTM 9 MDI T thatI had been eyeballing. Is the XTM 9 MDI T not the low-Q version? What are the differences?
