    Direct Injector Washer

Has anyone ever replaced these on their Opti? Part number 828694a1:

Reason I ask is because it seems like the port fuel rail, bottom hole for the injector (the one closest to the air regulator) on the fuel rail is pretty worn. I've looked at some used rails and they all have wear in same place as well. Do these washers keep the injector from moving and thus wearing the ports on the rails?

These are simply a dampner to prevent the DI from banging back and forth between the rail and cylinder head.

Also available in a RUBBER version (either is acceptable to use, though you MUST use 3 of the SAME TYPE... never inter-mix on the same cylinder head or bank).
