    Charger and Champion

I’ve had my first bass boat, a 2000 champion 186 for almost 2 years now. I like learning about the history of all the boat makers. I’ve read about some of the newer Chargers being made from Champion boats, 210, 198, etc. I’m curious if the connection to Champion? Is there some history there?

Rumor I heard was that the owner of charger really liked the Champion design. I think the moderator TOC can tell the whole story though. The current Chargers were made from a splashed hull, not the original molds.
