I’ve been having issues with my Northstar Cranking Battery on my 2016 Eyra for over a month. It will not hold a charge for long. It charges back to 100% and then a few weeks later it’s down to 70%. I took it out of the boat to make sure there was no “vampires” sucking it down. Still had same issue. I took it out on the lake and it lasted 5mins and the Merc alarms wet off for low volts and it died. I then took it to my Merc mech and he confirmed the charging system was working fine but the battery is having issues., down to 10.79 volts. After numerous emails and leaving messages to Northstar I got nowhere. I decided to call Basscat to see if they could get me in contact with a Northstar rep. Richard from customer service said to purchase a new battery and bring the old one and the receipt for the new one and he will take care of it. Wow!!! It’s not Basscat fault but they want to help. I’m blown away!!! Are these guys awesome or what? Thanks Basscat, you guys rock!!! See you at the CF and OI in April. Basscat for life!!!
