Why not Moors?
I stayed in that Econolodge years ago, I wouldn't recommend it.
It's not very close to Moors either, are they launching at KY Dam and motoring down to Moors in the morning or what's their plan?
My understanding they are taking out of moors, I will check for sure

We are staying at Kentucky Dam Village got a cabin.

Made sure to ask for a boater friendly cabin since we are bringing two boats. I stayed there one time and the driveway was so tight just barely got backed in.
