Yes, it is removable. Obviously I haven't done it yet, and may never but it can be done. In fact the passenger console is an option priced at $1200 MSRP.

I dreamt that it ran mid 70's and so smooth I could drink coffee from a mug. Fish chased me to my spot, just to be caught for a ride. Then dog woke me up

I'll take more pictures after it is fully rigged. I'll also put up numbers after it is fully broken in.

As far as removing the console I may never do it. If I do I'm pretty sure it takes two people as it has to be heavy. Also I'd have to store it which is out of the question at home. I wouldn't want it setting in the bed of the truck all weekend either.

I would think it could be rigged by this weekend, if, there aren't any boats that are already being worked on. The cover will take some time but I'd have it shipped instead of waiting. I need it at home to get my tackle organized. Going from a 396 to this boat is going to take time to get organized. Right off the bat I'm going to miss under the seat storage.

How does the passenger console attach?......and when removed, does it have a good appearance with no studs of bolts sticking out?

As I remember, from last October, it is held in place with 8? bolts. When removed there is a plate that is secured with the same bolts. Thats really all I remember. Since it was a single console boat they generally described how it was done.

I put 2 or 3 bolts and well nuts on side and on front. Nothing sticks out when removed, although I have never removed it! Thought I would!!!

As stated earlier I think it has a plate that goes over the area that the bolts are so it looks good.

The plate, as I remember, sandwiches the console up to the rod locker. You wouldn't have to put it on but would leave 4-5 holes exposed. A question I have, since the console is a seperate piece does it leak water where it's bolted on at?

You can always put a gasket around the bolts if needed.

I think Charger has the removable console in good shape.
