uneven under bow for ulterra install

Over a year ago I installed my first Ulterra on my Ranger 1860. Since the Ulterra had to be forward more than the previous Terrova, the Ulterra bolt positions had to be in the more uneven section (from the underside) in the bow. Now, I am getting ready to install the newest Ulterra and I'm looking for suggestions to even out mounting underneath so my washers lay flat and remain tight and locked down.

There are spacer kit that should work, but is you go to the hardware store and get some washers(SS) ti make up the difference then you should be good.
