    where to go next week

    Trying to decide on barbee, chapman, winona, beaver dam, or manitou.

    So many choices for the first trip of the year.

    Of those you listed...I'd go to Chapman. That's assuming none of the lakes are flooding. The ramp at Chapman didn't use to be so great. Not been there for several years though.

    I fish there a few times a year (10-15 trips), ramp is fine but parking is still limited.

    With the flooding it would have to be. Water was at the bottom of buffalo bridge Wednesday

    No way there is ice on it, they are pulling a tremendous amount of water from it. River is flooded.

    Doubt you will get on the barbee chain... Water in houses everywhere - tippy is the same. I think chapman is ok

    Thinking maybe beaver dam, if the parking lot isn't flooded. Bright side it is a quick drive over to manitou if it is. Winona is the other choice, they usually pull it down a bit in the winter so it probably isn't too high.
