Any 210 owners run a 250 Yamaha sho

Just curious how the performance is with the 4-stroke.

My little brother has a 210 champion with a 250 sho. Originally had a 300 merc on it, but original owner repowered with a new 250 sho.

    It is an animal.

The hulls must be identical since they were splashed from actual Champions. Since the ride is the thing with Champions, I suspect the Chargers will have that very same ride. I can't speak to the top cap appearance, but will be looking them over at the Classic. I definitely did not like the plastic appearing shroud on the consoles of the later Champions, or the panel of mega-link? "switches", and am glad Charger did not repeat these features. Not familiar with the "elevator buttons", since I have rocker switches.

Although, at my age, I will not need or want a new boat, I am glad Charger is keeping our hulls alive!!!!

(to the OP, sorry...this thread got off track just a tad!)

I have driven it with him to the mid 70s. I will send him a text and have him post exact details.

he runs a 36v TM and runs dual poles so his exact setup might be a bit different than yours.

Thanks for the info. That's a solid set up and I bet that thing pulls hard out of the hole!

Lea, were the Charger 210 splashed from a Stratos 210 or a Champion 210?

Stratos 210 came out of an actual Champion factory mold. The Charger 210 came from splashing a Champion-built 210 from what I understand..top caps are a bit different. But both were the same hulls...a 210 is a 210.

The only rigs different from others were the 19'8" 200 and newest 202s. They differed from the original 198. I believe the Charger 198 is a splash from the original 198.
