2016 V20 switched power in battery compartment

Looking for the switched power wire in the battery compartment. Installing talons and need it for the emerg beeper. I know it's the purple wire at the console just wondering if it also runs to the back end of the boat.

Pulled a new wire to the driver's side console and tied into the purple switched wire.

Sounds like fun. I have a 2016 V20 and am considering 10' Talons. Any changes to your ride/hole shot with them? How difficult was the install. Also, where do you get the seat risers? I would like to raise my seat about 4"

Talk to Pete Debois at Legend about the risers. He will help. 870 481 6750

i don't have a v20, but check by your pumps and follow the wires back to the main bundle. My 199 they are up under the driver side gunnel. i would assume they follow the same general path.

Absolutely love the new 10' Talons! They are super quiet and crazy solid. I've had them out a few times and love them! Very little change in holeshot added maybe 1 second with 2 guys 3/4 tank tourney load. Maybe lost 1-2 wot. I'm gong to try a 24P 4 blade fury. With full tanks, wells and loaded it's at 4-6 holeshot. They were super easy install I have a Bob's and the holes were already drilled. The power was really easy I tied into the power strip by the cranking and installed a on/off switch. Total install maybe 3 hours. An extra 2 hours just hooking up the stupid emergency wire because I could not find a switched purple wire at the back of the boat so I had to pull a new wire to the console to tap the purple wire. Overall 100% happy and won't have a boat without them. This is my 2nd set in 4 years and totally satisfied. Talon tech support is great also.
I made my seat riser just cut some 2x2, painted and installed. 3 screwed and super easy. I went up 2" my hds9's are not that high so I easily see over them with the 2".

Like your 2x2 idea. That's probably what I will do. How do you remove the seats. Anyone find the wire for the ignition alarm? Rather not run one if I don't have to.

Got a message from Pete at Legend. The purple wire is bundled in the sheath running to engine compartment. The only way to access it from the battery box would be to cut into the sheath and splice there. He recommended not doing that and instead suggested running a new wire to the console. Looks like I will run a wire as well.

Super easy to remove the seat. 2 screws in the bottom and 1 screw in the back. Pop the seat out and you'll see how easy it is to raise your seat.
