    Thumbs Up Jumping ship! R boat to PHX


    18 years fishing out of Rangers, and jumping ship. Been debating brands for at least a couple years. Pulled the trigger on a 21phx with a Verado 250. Was told 14 weeks wait time. The next 14 weeks is going to seem like 18 years.
    Looked at every brand out there, and it was really hard for me to walk away from Ranger, but the fact that you could not get a 521c factory rigged with Verado was a deal breaker. 521L redesign seems like 100% bling and nothing that improved function. Considered EVERYTHING else. Then I rode in a 21 ProXp, and pretty much sold me. Spent months on this board researching, then jumped in. Sold my beloved Ranger, going to be fishing off the back of my brothers boat until the PHX gets here. Going to be a LONG spring!

    Thanks for the comments guys! Big move for me, picking my own colors and the move to the Verado, plus a ton of time to think about if I did the right thing. A little support from the Pham makes me feel a little better!

    Welcome and Congrats on your choice but you can say ranger in the Phoenix boat forum ONLY when coming out of one into a Phoenix or if you’re talking about a Texas Ranger or the Lone Ranger. Nice color choice too. But I can say I’ve never seen an ugly Phoenix...
