A few CBs I've been working on

Here are a few CBs I have been working on. I still need to work on my painting skills. I need to remember to turn down the pressure when doing the gills and kill spot.
Other than that I am pretty happy with the way they turned out. They will run about 2-3' deep.

I was thinking about going the stencil route if I can't get the air pressure setting dialed in, but I will keep that in mind.

Your painting skills are fine. But, you need to work on your picture posting skills! I can't see a thing on this post or your spinnerbait post!

I can see both, using Chrome. What browser are those with problems using?

The baits look great. For gill and kill spot work, a stencil is the way to go. For gills use a C shaped stencil so one edge is sharp and the other is soft, controlled by your brush skills. The kill spot I just use a hole punched into some plastic and hold the stencil about 1/2" away to get softer edges. Alternatively I like markers for the kill spot sometimes when I'm a bit lazy, but I always spray the gills. They just look so good when it turns out perfect.

OK I get the X's when using Microsft edge and Internet Explorer, not sure about other browsers. I am using Google Chrome when I see them. I'll try to mess with them again later today.

Some colors are also more prone to running than others if the pressure is a little high. Looks like you are off to a great start, keep in mind the fish won't know the difference between a good bait and a perfect bait. All of those you posted will catch fish just fine.

Thank you all. I will keep working on it and get better along the way. I plan to make a few stencils to help with the detail work.

Those baits look great. Are they balsa? Cedar?

For the kill spot, you can punch a hole in some painter's tape and use that as a stencil for the kill spot. Push the tape on your pant leg a few times or it will pull the paint from the blank. Reduce the pressure and shoot for the edge of the tape, rather than filling in the hole in the tape.

I am using a composite material.

    Sounds good, I'll try that.
