If a 1997 model it will not be a DI FICHT but a carby engine. Parts readily available if that is what it is and as good as carby technology got the 60 degree V4 J/E. Post model number if you want to be certain how the fuel gets into the combustion chamber.

That model is a DI FICHT 1998 model, as mentioned parts are getting harder to get if you need them in the future.
I appreciate the input. From what I have read about the motor unless you get a boat with it for cheap enough to repower than pass on it which is what I will do.
That can be said for any 20 year rig.
