help finding 97' 20' cobra correct prop?

Having a difficult time finding out what the origional prop dimensions were on my motor..the prop on the boat when I bought it was a 13.25x25P OMC shooter prop that I believe is for an 89' 200 johnson..mine is a 96 johnson 200 venom. The tips of the blades on the shooter were shaved or grinded off, with that prop on I can hit 6000 rpms but I'm only hitting 52mph, I dont run 6000 I run about 5500-5800 and the motor runs strong and very smooth..I bought a 14 1/2"x25P solas prop and that prop really launches the boat up on a plane very quickly but max's out at 5200 rpms WOT and not much more speed than the old prop...the new prop feels like I'm running in low gear with no overdrive in a car..as best I can measure the middle of the prop is about 3" below the pad...should I have stuck with a 13.25x25P prop when buying a new prop...really appreciate any help or advice on my situation

May get more responses if you list this in the "Bass Boat Setup" forum......just search "Cobra Setup".
