HDS 12 water temp

Hey crew,I updated from a hds7 to a hds12 and the 12 won't show the water temp (lake temp)Any suggestions.

Try 'global temp' Also check to see if it's listed as 'invalid'. If so select another line and the 'invalid' line will actually go away. I've had that problem too.It can change at any time, Lowrance guy said they have no idea why it does that. My notes are in the boat, too cold and dark to go get it.

There will be 3 selections, one will be 'invalid' and would be the one checked. Select either of the other 2 and the 'invalid' one will go away.

Probably easiest way is to just delete the temp overlay and then add it back.....

Didn't work for me. Then I called Lowrance and he told me how to do it. Then it screwed up again months later. I called Lowrance and wrote down what he told me about the 3rd or 4th time I called Lowrance over 2 or 3 years.

Tried the delete over lay didn't work,I will try toms way in the morning.

water temp on screen digital not reading numbers fix;

go to;

pages;
settings;
network;

data sources;
sonar;
water temp - turn off/UNCLICK 'invalid'
pick either of the other 2

I just happened to watch that video 2 days ago. He has some decent videos for tips on Lowrance units.
