Well we had a crazy warm day today. Knowing that it was going to be so nice today I realized this morning that boy I didn't feel so well and would not be able to make it to work today.Hit the ice early and stayed all day. Fished shallow fished deep and everywhere in between. And I caught a whopping 2 slime darts and a 4 inch perch all day........ On a high note it was nice to get the first sunburn of the year...

Ya around my house it is getting real sketchy for ice as well. My pond down the street lost 6 inches in 5 days. And the ice is porous from top to bottom. Guess it is time to get the boat cleaned and packed....
We still have 24+ inches of ice here and just got 16 inches of snow on top of it over the weekend. I'm ready for spring!
