    Serial # locations 96 150efi

    Hey guys, I have searched all over my block looking for a stamped serial number, can’t find it to save my life lol. The tag on the transom bracket is gone. Any help appreciated. 1996 Merc 150efi

    Check the freeze plugs. That is where I found mine

    Welch Plugs, more specifically.

    May be one in the top of the block, or behind the electrical plate (in some cases).
