    Sonar brackets

Looking at bass boat tech and precision sonar. Is one better than the other?

I have a bbt mount at the console and absolutely love it. It's rock solid with my elite 12in unit and it looks very clean in my opinion. I couldn't say about the bow mount as I left my other graph flush mounted there

I have a PS on my console. 12" Lowrance. Solid as a rock. I can grab the unit and shake the whole boat if I wanted to.

I've run both of them plus boatlogix. For the console I like BBT better, for duals up front, precision stack gets the nod

BBT. Van was the only person willing to make a mount for my older boat

bow is an original precision sonar bracket

BBT for me, Van always available to talk and willing to make one off products. He will even allow you to trade in your existing BBT product when you want to upgrade.

Precision sonar was great to work with. Got a 12" Helix at the console, and one at the bow - both on PS mounts.

On a Phoenix it is hard to beat a bbt. I have dual 12s and the steering wheel doesn’t cover any bit of the screens and it has a bit of an angle rather than flat across. When I’ve been In boats with precision sonar dual mounts the steering wheel will cover the screen but they were not Phoenix boats. I run a precision sonar mount on the bow though.

Have used Dek-It, Balzout, Ram and Presicion Sonar. I like how the Presicion Sonar fits my Phoenix. But that's just my preference.

I am running the Pprecision Sonar brackets. I have the smart bracket on the console with the over and under bracket on the bow I also took Randy’s sonar class.
