I would look for soft spots on the floor in front of the seat. My 1995 Pantera has that problem. Stringer issue I believe. Also had some wood rot in the front storage, drink storage area.
They are great boats. I had a 97 PII. If it has a Mercury or a Mariner swing it by Town and Country Marine and have Joe check it out for you. He is a heck of a good guy.
Yea soft spots, my 93 PII just started getting one around the drivers console, that would not stop me from buying the boat unless it's real bad. would use it as a bargaining chip.
