    Carpet upgrade?

So my boat is now approaching its 8th year of hard labor. And the carpet is about reached it service life. My question is has anyone used seadek as a substitute instead of carpet. I went to the miami boat show this weekend and saw alot of boats with it installed and it looks really nice. Only concern would be the gaps between the lids. If anyone has a comment please dont hesitate.

I too have seen some boats with Sea Dek. Really like the looks. I also wonder about the durability though. There is a fella out in California that has a 520 with it. Sharp rig.

A guy that I know has a 2017 Z520 Intercoastal and has the sea deck. His boat sits on a lift in central Florida and he has had 3 separate times where the sea deck has come up from the Florida heat of the summer. It looks great but I would not chance it in Florida. Just my opinion though. You might want to consult with Ranger to see if they would recommend it for your locations/use.
