    In that case, I don't see how it could have been a demo boat since the HIN is created as or before construction is started

    In that case it’s unlikely to be the same boat since it was a dec made boat. I looked at the pic, it’s sharp looking!

    Just to ... My HIN is just a metal tag pop-riveted to the transom... A drill bit, new HIN tag and two pop rivets and it suddenly a new hull... Where's the second HIN hidden in the hull??? Now if it's molded into the gel-coat that makes it a little harder but I'm sure the factory has some top notch gel-coat repair guys... Dan

    Thanks for stiring it Dan. That had crossed my mind already but thats a whole lot of hoops to jump thru just to sell boat. There would have needed to be a crooked dealer, saleman,regional salesman, plant managers, plant workers in order to get this all done and for what. Its not like they couldn't have doctored the damaged boat up and still sold it as a demo. Its amazing how a story can get twisted to believe or not believe. Just look at Making a Murderer. Is he guilty or not. I could make a argument either way but after the show I felt like he was framed.

    It is on the starboard side of the front casting deck where it meets the starboard rod locker. Under the carpet..
