    Construction 190sx

    I’m doing the transom drying project this winter. Gas tank is out and I noticed that the glass under the tank sounds hollow when you tap on it. Everything else is solid sounding. Did champ do something different under the tank or do I have a structural issue I need the worry about? Boat is a 2001.

    Is there access to the bilge under the tank location? Are your pumps down in the bilge under the tank location? Or transducer down there?

    The circled area in the pic is where it sounds hollow. The tank/Hull is stepped, its the higher part, lower part is rock solid.
