Keel Guard vs Keel Shield vs Hamby's lite

Hello all, I'm going to install a beaching bumper on my Stratos and wanted some feedback on which one to get. I know the Hamby's dealer install is probably the best but my boat is already over 20 years old, so I am looking to just do a self install. All three have a lifetime warranty, but Hamby's lite is most expensive, followed by Keel Shield, with Keel guard being least expensive. What has your experience been with either of the three products? Thanks!

I’ve had a hambys and a keel shield. Both worked as advertised. Put a keel shield on my new to me Coral 202 last year and zero issues. Go slow and prep it well. Prep is the key.

Put the Keel Shield on mine about 2 years ago. Took about an hour tops, been working great, no issues or complaints.

I've had 4 Hamby's, 2 lights and 2 factory installed heavy duties. The 2 light's have performed just as well as the heavy duty models. You can't go worry with a Hamby's... if you do it yourself follow the instruction and it'll last forever... Dan

I also used a Keelshield and last year after 13 yrs of use on concrete or whatever, saw a small tear of about an inch or so on the bottom sent them pics and they sent me a new one no questions asked ,it was a bear getting the old one off and re-prepping but well worth it and would go with them again good company to do business with

I have a Hamby's Lite on my Sabre and installed it myself. It's a bit of work, but worth it. I also sealed the edges with marine grade caulk, just in case.

Keep Shield on my boat for 18 years. Still looks great and not turning loose. I guess that's good service.

Ordered a Keel Shield, looking forward to being able to beach on concrete boat ramps when there's no courtesy dock. Thanks for the feedback!

Works great so easy only way I launch pretty much anymore as long as it’s not blocking others from launching
