Don't forget about your drive home. If you stay on the VA side, by the time you get back to the VA side, get loaded up, 95N is generally a mess. Guessing you are adding an hour plus if you are heading home same day.

That's a good point. The plan is to leave on Sunday. But last year that same plan changed after we got back to the campsite and decided we had enough of the pouring down rain. Broke camp in a downpour, and were on our way back to NY in under an hour.

If it does get "bad" out on the main river there is plenty of stuff to fish in Mattawoman Creek and you don't get beat to crap!

One more question. Where we are staying at the hotel is it a safe area or should I have armed security watching my stuff?

If you have some friends that are staying at Smallwood just leave the rig there with them. Less hassle in the AM.

I would offer my driveway also if it made you more comfortable. Would add about 15min in the morning. I realize this is not ideal but I thought I'd offer. Mike's idea would be closer but may not be ideal for the electric setup.

It's worked well for others in the past. Finish your rigging. Plug it up and cover. Ready for the next day.

x2 on herndonpro. They are always on time with opening the game at 5 to let the bassers in early for tournaments.

Can you PM me your phone number and address? I'll talk it over with my buddy to see if he cares.
