    Disk Brake Installation

I've decided to do this install myself. I will be using UFP parts; A60 Actuator #34044, DB-35 Zn plated Calipers #41050 and DB-35 Zn plated rotors 41019. I am having trouble finding installation instructions online. I can't even find a youtube video on it. Weird! I've never done disk brakes so this is new territory for me but I want to be sure I do it right. Anyone have any tips for installation. On one of my quotes for installation they had a charge for lubing the new calipers. I don't understand that.

    I did find this ...

That seems to explain it just make sure caliper is centered on the rotor. Check with feeler guage.

Check on the e-trailer site for videos on disc brake installation.

Are you installing or replacing trailer brakes? Are you doing both axles? UFP A60 34044 is for 2 axles, 34043 is for a single axle.

Slider pins are lubed with disc brake caliper lube.

I removed an old drum brake system and I am installing a disk brake system. I did get the correct inner member for a tandem setup. I was wondering if you needed to lube a new caliper.

I would think that new calipers would have the slider pins lubed.

The DB35's mount on the 2 rear mounting holes on the axle flange. The bleeder valves need to be mounted up with the banjo fitting mounted on the bottom. They make left and right, but either can be configured for the other.

I did all of my hubs last year (converted from oil bath to grease) and replaced the A60 actuator. My brake hubs when I was going to bleed the brakes:
