I used a balzout mount for my 9" garmin. Worked great and did not block gauges and had plenty of room on the steering wheel.
Did yours have the pvc pipe under the gunnel where you mounted yours? That’s the best spot I have, but I figured that pipe is full of wires?Originally Posted by STLBassBuster

Pretty sure mine did. I only used two heavy duty screws to avoid hitting it. The pvc ran under the red metal flake on mine.
After further inspection today and crawling under the console, that pvc pipe stops right at my console. I could even shorten it about 4" more if I have to and it will work fine. Now to decide whether to put it there or get a mount for the top of the console that will clear the windscreen so it will be centered above my steering wheel.
