It will be interesting to see what the updated crest will be later this morning. It's freaking pouring right now in west KY, and has been all night!

    Normal is around 13 ft

Highest crest since 1997 was in 2011 at 31.13 ft

Currently predicting a crest of 34.4 ft but that's expected to go up:

We got 1 to 2 inches last night, now they are calling for an additional 2 to 4 inches by Sunday morning. Even a chance for a tornado Saturday afternoon/evening.

Cincinnati is predicted to have its highest crest since 1997. So a whole bunch of water is in the system and moving down.

KY was stained with some debris and lots of current today. A little rise in depth will be nice to use more boat ramps!

It's cool when they have to release water over the spillway at Norris. I've seen it twice.

There's another site to watch with discharge forecast out to day 5. When things get crazy on the river they updated twice a day. https://forecast.weather.gov/product...n=1&glossary=0

I bet they would lower the Lakes right back to Winter pool just in time to bring them back up again as soon as they have the space to slide the water in behind the crest on the Ohio River

Bumper pull. 37 ft. only has to be moved about 80 yards. A boy I work with said he would help, but I may need one other person. My wife is back in Murray and is a nervous wreck about it.
