I would enjoy watching that argument from another boat with a beer and a shot.

Jazz, we got out today on a small pond and caught 15 bass and 2 1/2 lbs was about the best. We also seen about 15 or 20 painted turtles just sitting in the sun ? Next week I don't think we will be doing this, more winter on the way ?

Saw some open water here in Southern New Hampshire yesterday. Wheelwright Pond in Lee has a football field sized section of open water.

Fished Wheelwright many decades past. Then some yahoo bought the property that the small launch was on and put a huge boulder dead freakin center. How's the Exeter river fishing these days ? Speaking of launches and abortions. The Pemigewassett Lake was / is great fishing. After many complaints from fishermen the NHF&G decided to put a nice launch in. The lake association went ballistic and complained. So, to show they were using the federal funds for the intended purposes F & G put in a nice launch, their was a very nice parking area AND a HUGE boulder dead center of the launch in about 2 feet of water to keep us OUT ! I complained and was told their was nothing wrong.I told the head honcho I would personally pick him up and drive him to the site to prove it to him. Never heard back.Took pics and sent them to him, never heard back.Anyone ever go by their ?

Jazz, the Exeter river here in town is gone. They removed the damn in downtown Exeter and left the river a 10 foot wide 2 feet deep trickle. Wheelwright is one of those places I will just never get to fish

I have only been there a half dozen times or so but have done pretty good.
It was snowing the last time I was there.
Let me know and we'll get out there.

Well Jazz, I have to tell you this, We have not fished in March at all due to the weather? Not so cold but Snow, wind and more wind ? Lost elec. for 3 days then another day ... We have some thin ice now in the mornings on the small ponds that we fish. 95 bass in Feb. with the water temps almost 50, now it's going to take a little bit of time to get temps back up ? Strange winter ?

I'm still trying to figure out how in the world I'm going to get my boat out of the cellar. Back at Thanksgiving my neighbors house burnt to the ground (no one hurt thankfully). Then in December, bulldozers and bucket loaders flattened the last of it. It looks like a back alley now... all covered in snow. There is so much destruction debris in the way. Clean up won't happen until the ground is thawed and and dried up. Anyone have a crane? Or how about a heavy duty zip line? lol
