You should know that in bee tending if you don't shut your trap the bees will get out.
The Grand River is, hands down, my favorite place to throw a frog.

I say Kent Lake
Lake St. Helen. It's about the only way to win a tournament there.
It's a lake by me that is small, requires 4x4, small tin boat, and you have to use an oar or push pole to get through silt for about 30 yards. In the words of Zona "this is where leprechauns and unicorns live"
Michigan center. I wouldn't drive past dubonet to go there though

Is six mile lake not an option for you?

no no no its good....don't let my taste for the sweet water get in your way of a good time...we used to slay them in the channel. I run mostly the bigger lakes in the area. Blame that on the club tourneys. keep in touch when your up...meet up or turn you to the right water. Six mile is good. thats one i like to frog.

I fished Dubonet once and didn't do to well. Looked a lot like Fletchers, just a big hay field with sawed off trees everywhere. Looked like a good largemouth lake but I struggled. I also tried Brown Bridge Pond in that area. It looked great with a lot of cabbage weeds everywhere but was another tough day for me. Back to your original question though, LSC in mid summer has really good frog water around the thirteen mile road area and North.

I prefer West Grand Traverse Bay. I've found some of the big smallmouths that stage off the breaks will come up 25- 30 feet to hit a frog.
That was a joke, but seriously I can't think of my favorite frog lake. I'm a frog ADDICT and it's always been a big fish, but never numbers bait for me. I have certain spots, little clumps, seawalls, docks what ever at each lake where I get 1 or 2 off. Rarely do I stick with it long though.
Hamlin channels and the north end were fun to throw a frog in last year for us. We only spent 5 days up there but there are some good frog spots for sure, hidden treasure.
Lake Missaukee or the Grand River near Grand Haven
Not the only way!
