Back from vacation

And we tried to bring the warm weather back with us!
My wife and I enjoyed a weeks vacation in Florida. Spent a few days with some of her family and a few days with some of mine. We did get a little fishing in of course. I'll try to get some pics together in a few days.

A couple highlights from our vacation:

Caught a flounder from a kayak.


Caught a bonnet head shark.


Ever fed a snook? It is cool, you should try it!


A few more things we did was; indoor skydiving, hanging at the beach, visited some family, and a little more fishing! Great time and enjoyed the warm Florida weather.

Nice Brad. Sound like you had a great time. I always wanted to try the indoor skydiving...so how was it? learning curve? how long to they let you do it?

It was fun. I always wanted to do the real thing but Sarah will not go with me, but she was excited about this option. We did a minute and a half for two rounds, so our total time was 3min. Yeah there is a learning curve on body position with your arms and legs to control your height. The instructor was there beside you to keep you from getting out of control and to get you into the correct position. I was spinning around just by using my hands like a rudder on a boat on my second round.

Thanks...I am in the same boat as you...I want to jump out of the plane, but the wife is a no go...cool pics of the experience....I have stayed out of the lounge lately, way to many gun debates for me.

I haven't ask the wife again about skydiving, but I know my FIL wants to go. I bet him and I will go even if she does not want to.

Been there, done that. They say the second time is easier...bullshit! Just keeps getting worse. (did it 35 years ago but it was not the recreational version)
