    Riptide Terrova shaft too long

Has anyone ever shortened a shaft on a Riptide Terrova? If so, how difficult is it?

Not difficult at all. How much are you taking out. If 6" to 8" you wont have to cut wires.

Can be done. Just figure out the length. Screw hole for the head attachment will have to be re-drilled. Wire may have to be shortened. Be careful not to cut the wires.

if it has IPilot, IPilot link, or auto pilot, the wires will have to be cut and reterminated the same amount you cut the shaft to keep electrical interferance away from the head. Also, be sure to twist them back like you find them.

Thanks everyone! No IPilot or auto pilot. Plan on taking 10-12 inches off.
