Thumbs Up Update on the 6.5 Creedmoor

My oldest stepson used it today to take his first game animal. Perfect shot placement, and the blackbuck doe only went about 50 yards. Left a blood trail a blind man could follow. I am impressed with the performance of Hornady’s 143 grain ELD-X ammo. Shoots little groups and is devastating on game.

Congrats to him... Blackbuck is absolutely wonderful on the table!

Unless things have changed since I was working in the Hill Country, there are more blackbuck antelope in Texas than in their native India.

Nice shooting! The 6.5 CM is a nice cartridge that really has earned its popularity. I have yet to try the 143 grain ELD-X bullet, but have
had excellent results with the 120 gr AMAX that predates the ELD-M and ELD-X bullets.

Very nice. I want one bad. I load the eld-x in the 308 ar-10. 178 grain. Its a beast.
