    Which prop to balance and blue print.

    I now have a 25 tempest plus , 26 tempest plus and 25 Fury running on 20 TRX with a SHO. Rpms are best on 25 tempest but blows out on take off if you don't feather throttle. Bow lift is also not there. Bout 73 with some load. Fury is good all around , about 74 with some load but about 200 low on RPMs. 26 tempest runs well but only about 73 on top and also about 200 low on rpms. Everyone tells me the Fury is too small diameter and I wonder if I will gain anything by getting it worked.

    My suggestion is to lower the plate with the 25 Tempest and see what that brings about just to get better info. You could also try a 24 Fury to bring the RPMs up, but it maybe a mph slower until it gets worked. Why no T1/T2?

    They were 6 months behind on T1's when I got the boat last year so I got the mercury prop. I have heard mixed reviews on the t2 so I hated to drop nearly 800 bucks on something to run it once. I don't know anyone around here with a t1 or t2 I could try.
