Hot Foot Throttle Stop Bolt Size and Length

Anyone know the bolt size and length? Thread looks like 1/4-20.

The boat was bought with the Hot Foot already installed and the bolt missing.

    Thanks in advance

If you take the Hot Foot assembly to a shop where they may have an assortment of thread gauge and have them test and give you dimensions of the hole the particular bolt went into.

Are you referring to the bolt with the spring mounted to it? If so, it requires a special bolt or modification to a standard bolt, flattening it and drilling a hole.

No. I'm talking about the bolt that positively stops the pedal to prevent cable stretching.

    If it's a T&H Hotfoot, should indeed by 1/4 x 20.

    Thanks Don.

I was trying to get a length so I could install the same exact bolt it came with, not that it really matters as long as the bolt is long enough to A) have enough thread to adjust out far enough and B) have enough thread to extend out the back side of the pedal to keep the threads in the pedal from being damaged when pressure is applied.

I planned on measuring tomorrow and updating the thread with the length I used.

The thread is 1/4 UNC, the bolt lenght under the head is 44mm so 1.75inch, you need also a 1/4UNC nut.
