    Hole Shot RPM?

    Lots of variables here I know, however with a 20 foot boat with 225 HP motor that you normally turn 58 to 6000 RPM, what would be the max RPM getting the boat up.

    3500-4000 best what motor? 2 or 4 stroke?

    Like you said,many variables to consider. As a general rule I would say under 4,000. 3-4,000 rpm is okay.
