Chick fishable?

Is chick or maybe Guntersville going to be fishable next weekend or is it all going to be too muddy?

My best friend went out on chick today and caught 12 fish including a good smallie. Another guy I know well just caught a 12 almost 13 pounder on Friday. So I’d say yeah, it’s fishable lol

I'm glad someone caught something on Chick, I sure didn't. It was un fishable to me today. Put in at Grasshopper. I can't remember the last time I saw Chick as muddy as Weiss. Florida bass don't like cold (water temp at 50) and muddy. Haven't heard about the 12+.

Had a club event sat....26 won. He had an 11.

I was on chick yesterday. The main river is pretty muddy up towards the hiwassee, heavy stain below the nuke plant. Creeks are the clearest but still stained. Surprising there wasn't much debris out on the main lake.

We considered locking up as well, but after fishing WB yesterday we changed our mind. We're just going to get in with all the boats and take our chance and see what happens. What boat# did yall draw or have you signed up yet?

We haven’t signed up just yet I’m planing on doing it probably Thursday so we still get a double number draw. After talking to my dad I think we’re gonna do the same and just stick to chick. Atleast there’s a chance there of catching a decent kicker to anchor us if we can get on something. It’s been mega tough that’s for sure

I may be fishing the cba. Depends on the weather and if I make it back in town to prefish Friday.
I always struggle when a big tourney comes out of Dayton because I usually fish midlake to get away from the crowd but boats stop midlake when they launch from Dayton.

I love fishing Chick during the week, but tournament days there can be frustrating. I wish I knew the river better but usually head down lake with the crowd and there aren't many secrets.

I'm not sure anyone really has a clue with this weather we've had..
Whoever wins both tourneys will be the one that finds a pile of big females staged up and gets their bag in 30 minutes.
