Okie, I don't think Champion made trailers back then. Could it be a TI by EZ Loader? There should be a manufacturer's sticker somewhere on the tongue.

10” is the most common. Likely a 1-3/8 -1-1/16 tapered spindle. L68149 inner L44649 outer. An 18 footer might not have brakes. If not, you need an idler hub. If its a drum brake you probably need a 10” 2 1/4. If disc, you will need a rotor - again, a 10” most likely.

You will need to know if you have a 2000# axle or a 3500#. If it has a brake flange, then its a 3500# axle. Most hubs on that age of a EZLoader or TI will be a UFP make. You can get them online anywhere. Eastern, etrailer, Shadow... even on Amazon

it is the 3500 axle --no brakes ---i have seen several on line that are already put together , greased and ready to go ----several galvanized ones pretty cheap ---any issues with going with a galvanized one ? if not then be whole lot easier just get the one already put together and ready to go , not that much more than buying parts and putting them back together ---any input on this option ? thanks for all the input guys !
